Pelri CoTtages is a great experience to stay in. We visited Paro during Nov 2011 and came back with awesome memories. Pelri Cottages forms a key part of the experience . The rooms are cozy and neatly done. We stayed in the valley facing rooms which had nice views. The service was quite good. The best thing, however, was the... More

Stayed here for one night at the beginning and end of my trip. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful; food was good especially for a vegetarian. Although the rooms wereprobably seen as basic by western standards, they were spotlessly clean and the views across Paro valley were fabulous. It was lovely, restful retreat from the hustle & bustle of... More

We stayed as a couple for 3 nights here. Overall we found the stay to be average. Positives: Set amidst beautiful scenery, perched on a mini hill, with very clean, cozy & beautiful bhutanese decor cottages, that enjoy gorgeous views of the hills right from its balcony! The staff is very welcoming & helpful. Great activities offered here include, authentic... More

Glad did not stay more than one night, cold, dark and very basic bedroom, beds and pillows very hard, thin bedding, very basic, cold bathroom, barking dogs, food nothing special, pleasant valley view, cottages look better from the outside than in. Staff pleasant though.

I loved this place. The rooms are in little cottages that overlook the valley. It's quiet and very relaxing. The inside of the cottages have a warm rustic feel, are comfortable, and have large windows. The beds were hard but after sleeping on them a couple of nights it became less of a concern. The food is good, the staff... More

We were there during our trip to Bhutan in Apr-12.The cottages are very good and the interiors are very eyecatching. The reception, restaurant & lounge add artistic value to the cottages. The main problem is there are not sufficient staff who can take your order or provide room services.Even there are noone to pick up your telephone also. When you come down to reception... As we were displaced from the Naksel by the King and Queen we ended up here for our first 2 nights we were a little disappointed. However the cottages were comfortable and the staff very friendly. We had a great view of the valley and the food was good. There didn't seem to be many people staying there. I did... More

The rooms were good with wood panelling. The views of the valley was also good. The best part is the hospitality. The cook, Bablu, was very good. The food (Indian) was delicious and made to our liking. The room heaters worked fine. We did not find the friendly manager, Peters Rodriques, as he was on holiday to Kolkata, but the... More

Pelri cottage was a beautiful choice of resort. It is away from the city, into the valley and a lovely spot to just sit and relax. We had their valley facing rooms and the view in the morning and late evening were pretty. Their Indian food was really nice and i would say we overate almost every meal. There was... More
