I was very pleased with my stay at the Capitola Inn. Since the last time I was there they have made great changes. The upgrades in the bathrooms (tile on floors and counter tops) was a great upgrade from the tired vinyl that was there before. We just returned from 2 nights at the Capitola Inn. The reviews had said it had been improved, but maybe they didn't have our room. Stayed for four days Thursday - Sunday. The service was great, very helpful. The grounds were kept, clean and tidy as well as the room. It had new carpets and bedding. Rooms are not being upgraded, repaired or modernized. Tiles missing in bathroom, faucets drip, bedding doesn't stay on mattresses anymore, pillows are scary and the employee we dealt with was rude and disrespectful.
