We stayed one night in one of the cabins at the Inn. Very pleasant stay. I would recommend. This inn is located near the beach but central to shopping. It is well maintained and the staff is very friendly. More

The Green Lantern is a cosy and quaint B&B. Its a little dated to look at, but clean and excellently located for Carmel beach and the main street (both about 5mins walk away). The lady who greeted us at the inn was really friendly and helpful, she gave us tons of maps and advice and went out of her way... More

Your stay at the Green Lantern will depend upon the room you are assisgned. It is a collection of attached cabins on lovely grounds. However the windows are very small with no overhead fans. In warm weather, it is not sufficient ventilation. In cool weather, it can be very cool. The breakfasts are adequate however no home cooked baked goods... More

We stayed here 14 years ago in December . When we put Carmel on our travel plans for the summer I had to come back. This time we brought our 3 children along for the fun. It was just as wonderful as the last time. Breakfast is included and it is terrific and quite a spread. We stayed in the... More

We stayed here with our friends from the city and while the staff were extremely friendly and helpful the rooms were very noisy. We could hear every single moment from next door, upstairs and across in an other building. Breakfasts were great - plenty of fresh fruit, cereal, waffles if you wanted them, toast, muffins and bagels and a hot... More

Quaint, older cottages set in the heart of Carmel gave us a quiet and comfortable stay. In a pleasant location with an easy walk round Carmel to find restaurants etc. The self service breakfast was plentiful . Loved the waffle machine, lots of fresh fruit and the coffee was not bad either. Room was a little on the small side... More

We stopped in Carmel By the Sea on our way from Yosemite to LA driving down the coast. They were very accommodating and gave us a room that had a fire place and was on the second floor so we could hear the waves from the ocean breaking. Talk about a great nights sleep! It was close enough to downtown... More

We stayed in a 2 storey room with 2 double beds, one bed is upstairs in the attic part which was perfect for our 9 year old but might be tricky for very little kids with the stairs. Nice bathroom. Breakfast was really nice, plenty to choose from and very tasty. Easy parking. Very close to the centre of Carmel... More

This looked great on the website! The property is very crowded together - not the spacious place the website made it look. The room was small with not much room for suitcases. The bathtub/shower was so disgusting that we didn't use it. You couldn't see to read. There was neither AC nor screens so you couldn't get any air circulating.... More
