the inn was a pleasant surprise - much better than we were expecting for the price! the room was clean, well kept and had the real carmel feel to it. service was prompt, and the caretaker was very friendly. compared to some other more expensive places we have stayed at in Carmel, this inn was much more value for money. more

I have been a steady visitor for many years and the new management is making a good thing even better. It has always been clean and cosy, but a tad dated and in need of basic upgrades. We stayed at Carmel Resort Inn and were pleasantly rewarded. Our room was a little cottage on the corner of 1st & Guadalupe in the residential part of town. For a couple nights, we felt like we were Carmel locals! Angela was very helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. We're looking forward to our next visit! more
