I am shocked to see the horrible review that was posted in July but this was my second stay there IN ROOM1 and it was as charming as it was the first time I was there. This is a birthday tradition that my best friend and I have and will continue to stay @ the Cobblestone. I LOVE THIS PLACE... more

This guest called after checking out to complain. Had they brought up their concerns during their stay, the Inn could have made an attempt to rectify the problem. The guest did not inform us that they were upset during their stay, or at check-out. When the guest called, some days after check-out, they were compensated accordingly. We thought that the...

My wife and I stayed at the Cobblestone May 15, 2008, and were terribly disappointed with the condition of the room. We were in room 22, and the 2 chairs were both broken, the iron did not work, the wallpaper was peeling and the paint was scratched and needed to be redone. The carpet was stained and had a "sticky"... more

The Cobblestone Inn changed ownership on April 1st, 2008. The new ownership is working hard on upgrading the service, amenities and condition of the Inn. This guest was given an apology and a considerable discount, off of an already discounted rate, at check-out.

Room 6 is directly above the basement laundry room and there is a fan or motor or something there that hums loudly 24 hours a day. I could even hear it over the hair dryer. I complained to the desk but said they would contact maintenance but nothing ever happened. They said others had mentioned the noise too. The room... more

We took advantage of a two nights for the price of one special on their website. Little did we know we'd be put in their very best room, room 27. Room 27 is a huge room with a big four poster bed, stone fireplace, sitting area and mini-TV. The room was so nice that we spent more time inside than... more

Cobblestone in was lovely, of course Carmel was beautiful. The room in its self was romantic. A fireplace, a tub for two, but the piece of resistance was a romantic dinner for two in the room. A beautiful table was set up by "Romantic Room Designs" with rose pettals, lace, candle light, roses, champange, etc. "Romantic Room Designs" came into... more

Our first visit to this Inn was OK since we were staying there on their Winter Special wherein we paid $170 for the first night and received the second night free. If the Special were not available on a future visit, we would return to the Normandy Inn where we have stayed many times over the past 35 years. Their... more

Lots of pros and cons during our stay at the Cobblestone Inn. You can decide which are important to you. Pro's: 1. The location is close to downtown so everything is within walking distance. 2. The price per night is lower than most Four Sister's Inns. 3. I was charged more for having a whirlpool in my room only to... more

The best thing about this b&b is the location. It is right in the centre of town so you are really close to all the shops and restaurants. The room was nice but the bathroom was really tiny. This is the kind of place where you will stay just for a night and it would be great but I don't... more

From the moment we arrived, it was lovely. The Inn is so welcoming in so many ways. The room was quite adequate for our 3 night stay. The daily breakfast was filling and tasty, as well as the afternoon/evening wine and snacks. I loved having a paper at my door every morning! It was within walking distance of everything and... more
