It is closed to Camarillo and very good location. I feeled comfortable all through our staying at this hotel. My room located far away from front area so it was not so convenient for us. We feel a little high cost.

After a long day of travel, this was just the place to stay for a much needed rest. Front desk attendants were friendly and fast. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very nice, a couple of hot choices as well as yogurt, rolls, toast etc. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We stayed here one night with our two well-behaved dogs. The room was a nice comfortable size. It was clean and had the usual amenities. Stayed here as we thought it was in Santa Barbara but nowhere near. Rooms are dark and horrible. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Moved to the Harbour View hotel right on the pier in Santa Barbara for a fraction of the price.

Stayed here for one night in January 2013. The hotel is located close to the highway, so try to get a room faced away from it. The room was okay regarded the price. The front desk was nice, but the breakfast was not very impressive. It is located around 20 minutes from Santa Barbara

The Holiday Inn Express in Carpinteria gives you what you expect. Nice rooms, good front desk staff and good location. Our room was very clean and comfortable and had a huge TV with lots of channels. We would certainly stay here again.
