I stay at this hotel mainly when I am in the LA area because it's decent sized with clean, spacious rooms and a nice comp breakfast. I usually ask for a room at the end of the hall so I don't have lots of people passing by my door throughout my stay, which makes it more quiet. more

If you are on the side away from the freeway, this is an excellent hotel. Even on the top floor on the freeway side, there is enough noise to wake a light sleeper (like my wife) several times at night. Stayed at HI Carson for 4 nights during the Pac-10 Basketball Tourney. Very friendly front desk and always met our needs such as extra towels and new sheets for extra bed etc. Good location for us and not too far from Staples.
