Owners were pretty grouchy, room was dark and needed a little sprucing up. Bathroom functional but worn. Huge kitchen given the size of the room overall. i stayed here one night because my favorite motel in chester (the cedar lodge) was fully booked. this motel was minimally acceptable. it was on a quiet street off the highway and the room had a full kitchen: fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen sink, table and chairs. the room was generally clean but dreary, with old furniture and a dirty rug.... more

This motel does not meet basic standards. The rate was $65 (plus tax), which is highway robbery for a place that is so rundown. It's the kind of place you'd expect to get for about $30 a night.
