My boyfriend and I were traveling through the area from Reno. We wanted somewhere close to Mt. Lassen National Park and also close to a lake with a small town nearby. Chester is a really cute little town located right on Lake Almanor. The Cinnamon Teal Inn was perfect. Since we stayed mid-week at the end of the summer season, we had the whole B&B to ourselves and at a really great rate. The rooms were spacious (and we had one of the smaller rooms), the bathroom was clean and stocked with amenities, the living room had movies, a fire place, games, and lots of seating, and the kitchen was available for us to use (minus the stove due to insurance reasons). The yard was one of our favorite parts. There was a really nice patio with a table and some chairs and a really large yard with dear playing and a creek at one edge, with pear and apple trees.
