The Safari has had a bad rep. due to past owners who haven't kept up the property or provided good service. The Indian family who runs the Safari now was very helpful. We arrived at the Safari Motel around 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday. Checking in was quick and uneventful. We got a room in the back of the facility, upstairs. Other reviews are true; threadbare linens, old spreads, ratty blankets. The room didn't smell clean. Windows were dirty. Upon return in the evening, there were tiny flying insects in the room when we entered.
