We stayed at the Travel Lodge in Clear Lake, CA this past weekend. The motel is awful. We paid a $130 for a shabby, drab room, with a bad mattress, stained carpeting, and cigarette burns on the furniture and toilet seat. I have stayed here extensively for business around Lake County and have no complaints. Its quiet, clean and comfortable. I prefer it to the Best Western around the corner for price and service. Everyone here is friendly. Its a well recommended bed in an area where there isnt much too offer in the way of hospitality. As for being robbed.... more
