My fiancee and I arrived early Friday afternoon - our room was not ready, but we had expected that. We walked around the beautiful grounds, and then had a drink at Babcockk and Story - one of the bars on the property. We stayed for the Christmas period. The hotel was unbelievably busy - it appeared many people were just visiting (either to eat or mainly just look around). There were just hoards of people everywhere - think of a Disneyland queue to get the idea - residents needed to make breakfast reservations - the only other option was self service queue... more
