I arranged for the bridal party to stay at this Ayres hotel in preparation for hair/makeup the next morning. The deluxe room was large effect for 5 people to do hair/makeup. Stayed here for 4 nights and had a very nice stay in a "junior suite" at a very good rate. Tastefully decorated rooms and lobby/halls/dining room. I have stayed in a couple of other Ayres properties in the LA area - and they are all pretty much the same. First off, let me say that the folks that work here are very nice and the rooms are spacious, quiet, and clean. At the basic level, isn't this all we really need? I spent the night at the Ayres hotel last week. I checked in late after arriving at John Wayne airport and then headed on to San Diego the next morning. The staff was friendly and the accommodations clean and comfortable. The hotel is very convenient to the airport. Next time I'm in the area I will return. more
