I really felt nickeled and dimed in this hotel. The fact that they charge you to use their business center's internet service seems ridiculous to me. I have stayed at other hotels with same rating whereby they did not charge you for internet access or fax machine. Plus the charge is too high considering many business travelers will be staying... more

Paid a reasonable price on a travel website and was not disappointed. Pros: Clean rooms, bed and pillows and towels were solid, staff attentive and courteous, parking safe ($16 self-park), pool and workout room excellent. Cons: a little dated, but clean, lots of rooms so a little walk from the elevator to our room. more

I had stayed here for 5 days and the hotel went beyond my expectations. The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful with any inquiries about the area. We had trouble with our Wi-Fi, and had used their business centre. It's a pre-pay card system to access their internet, and after figuring out that we were short changed on our... more

There are at least fifteen 4 and 5 star hotels in Orange County, but what sets this property apart from the others is it's location (practically on the I-405) and its blend of conference facilities with guest rooms. This is a huge, complicated infrastructure with 80 guests rooms per floor--a ballroom, and a dozen or so meeting and conference spaces--and... more

I stayed at the Hilton for two weeks on business and was pleasantly surprised. I had to book a 14 day stay for 4 colleagues and was overjoyed that I was able to stay in the Hilton, Costa Mesa. If you've been to Southern California you know that you pay for everything! For the Hilton, this included wireless and parking.... more

We were in town on business, though not a convention at the hotel or anything. Parking is valet, or self park for $16 a night in an adjacent garage. Check in was fast and the lobby was elegant and spacious. Breakfast coupons apparently given based on the price you paid for the room, not on Gold/Diamond status. Those members do... more

The hotel is an average 3 star hotel in a busy area off the San Diego Freeway. It claims it is a 4 star hotel - that means on par with the Westin South Coast. That it is not. It is a solid 3 star hotel though. There are no 4 star hotel perks - no mini bar, no flat... more

This hotel is within 1 mile of every American store and chain restaurant. A car is unnecessary - and might we add expensive to house - because of the $16 parking fee. While this is typical of the area, the proximity to restaurants and shops makes it more of a luxury. The hotel exterior is tired after enduring years of... more

I got the deal from priceline for $64/night, they do charge $16 for parking, a total of $80 is not bad for Hilton hotel. The check in was smooth, I requested higher floor at check in and the staff was able to accommodate me with great manner. The room is bigger than I expected, there is a balcony with most... more

Okay, you would think reading these reviews that the Hilton Costa Mesa is an absolute dump. It absolutely is NOT. I knew I was going to have to pay for parking, but come on - you pay for parking at nicer hotels. It's a given. Especially in this part of the country. So, we parked, walked into the lobby, and... more
