Great view of Mt. Shasta from the parking lot, but noisy and dirty rooms. Bathtub had green algae at the drain and mold between the tiles. No idea what the crusty coating was on the tub walls. Very old and tired hotel. Looks like it was abandoned and now trying to be very slowly fixed up. Sadly, only surface improvements... more
We made the booking thru Expedia for a nights stay near Mt Shasta. Turned out to be a horrible experience. Our Room request could not be honored as the hotel is oversold ( That's what the front desk informed) but hardly there were 4-5 cars in the parking lot. Absolutely the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I can't imagine EVER going there again. A tent set up on the roadside would be preferable and probably safer. Badly needs upgrades, looks like it was deserted but someone took down the boards, put a sign up and started selling rooms. The pool is cracked, unkept and unused--no water. The restaurant... more
