Being so close to the beach we expected more. Beds were uncomfortable, no extra pillows blankets, etc. and the inside of the rooms seemed to be outdated and worn. The brochure for this hotel makes it seem far more luxurious than it actually is. E.g. it states "microwave and refrigerator". We requested a refrigerator (just to be sure), but there was only a microwave placed on the table - no actual place for it, or a refrigerator. The inkeepers couldn't have been any nicer, and we loved their little dog Joey. Rooms are reasonable and can walk to many good restaurants, harbor and Mavericks - the largest waves on the Mainland U.S. Dog friendly! Traffic noise is only drawback, price is great.
