Enjoyed my visit. Reservation was easy and Betty was great help. Allow time to walk around and visit local shops. Room was great and enjoyed high ceilings and antique furniture. Walk across street to waterfront and view of harbor. Rates change greatly for July. Can stay for less than 100.00 sometime. more

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay in Eureka. We were driving around Old Town and literally stumbled upon the Eagle House by accident. We were quite pleased with the hospitality and accomodations. We would recommend this Inn to anyone traveling through the North Coast looking for a place to stay and explore the local area. more

I have had the pleasure to spend 4 nights, 2-3 weeks each month for the past 8 months. I always find the staff very helpful in assisting me in every way possible. I enjoy staying at the Eagle House over the many other Inns due to the fact that the building is over 100 years and is totally furnished with... more

Kind of a gem in the rough that is almost finished. Great old Victorian with different rooms on each floor. Great location in the cultural area of Eureka within a block's walk of the water. Eclectic, owner personally on premises. Beti, the manager, is a great concierge and host. If you like unique but not pricey this is a great... more

There's nothing worse than bad service when you're trying to book a special weekend, and these people were patently rude! We used to recommend this hotel to our friends who came to visit us in Eureka and even had a large wedding party stay there in 2007. After we moved away we wanted to go back to Eureka to visit... more

This is our first-ever response to a posted TripAdvisor review, but we felt we needed to set the record straight concerning the above remarks. We are indeed sorry that the reviewer felt that we were "rude, rude, rude" in our handling of their advance booking request for a room for a "special weekend." As luck would have it, the specific...

it's my second stay at the Eagle House Victorian Inn, and I enjoy it more this time, and will come back every time I visit Humboldt County. Hotel is great, and the restaurant , Irish Pub, is super both drinks and food. What can I say? How can you spend less than $ 100 a night at antique hotel? more

Like other reviews, Bob was and exceptional host. He showed us around the hotel and even let us park our motorcycle in the ballroom overnight. The hotel is in a nice location. The interior is unique with lots of antiques. Our room was on the fourth floor with alot of window. The only thing I'd suggest is window shades. It... more

We made Eureka CA a stop on our trip from Seattle to San Francisco down the Pacific Coast Highway, selected this hotel based on reviews read here, found it to be very unique and historic. There is a bar downstairs but noise was never an issue. Stayed on top floor, great room full of victorian antiques, hotel is close to... more

We stayed 4 days and three nights here. We enjoyed the inn and it's location downtown. It's an easy walk to the old town with it's brewery, shops and bars. It's off the main drag, traffic is light and there is little to disrupt you except for idle banter of people walking the streets. The bed was comfortable and we... more

When we first arrived, there was an extremely nice man who helped us check in, I believe his name was Robert. He showed us our room before we had to commit to it, and automatically said it wasn't good enough for our family of 4. He ended up giving us two rooms for the price of one so that we... more
