After looking around for a place to stay in Fairfield for a few days, I was very pleased to find the HIE in Fairfield. Compared to other hotels in the area it is a good value. I was really tired and needed to find a place to crash. I found this Holiday Inn Express... I got the room for like $90 or $99 plus taxes.. We were over all very pleased with the hotel. The lobby was nice and well kept. The room was large, up-to-date and clean. The shower was awesome. Our only complaint was that there was cigarette smell in the hallway when we came off of the elevator, but we had a non smoking room which was totally fine and smoke free.... more
I stayed at this hotel for business for a week in July. I would not stay there again. The hotel is very basic. You get walls, a roof and sagging beds. The decor was beyond dated. I didn't shop around for this hotel so I'm not sure how great of a value it was compared to the other hotels in the area. We chose this hotel because it was rated highly on the hotel's website and we like Holiday Inn's quality. We got a handicap acc. room so I'm not sure how different it would be... more
This is a standard Holiday Inn Express - great continental breakfast with hot food items, outdoor pool and heated whirlpool somewhat secluded from parking areas, small fitness center, convenient to highway and many national restaurants within walking distance (all right at that exit). Room was very clean and up-to-date and included a small refrigerator. About 20 minutes from Napa Valley. more
This is an OK hotel, typical of the Holiday Inn Express chain. Rooms are large and clean Breakfast is free and adequate Location is close to the freeway (about 1/2 hr from Napa) Problems: No entertainment facility (e.g. films) only standard TV Located away from Fairfield - only junk food available in the immediate facility. more
We had an outstanding experience at this hotel. We will definately stay here in our future visits to Fairfield. more
