This was our family summer vacation. Yellowstone is just around the corner. Had adjoining rooms. Both where average. Hotel was quiet, no hall noise at all. Did the spa thing, had better, way to pricey for what you get. The two restaurants need to upgrade. Lodge should offer more eats. There is really nothing for teens to do here. So... more

I travel quite a bit. infact thius was an extension of a trip to SFO. The hotel was the most expensive of my trip and from an accomodations the least impressive. Views and scenery .... majestic. Hotel had nice lobby area with lots of sofas to lounge around on and a nice fire in the evenings. The room was clean but very dark and needed to have the light on all the time. After spending a few days at the Yosemite Lodge, it was a breath of fresh air to arrive at the Tenaya Lodge! The rooms were beautiful, clean and spacious. They even had wonderful shampoo, soaps, and lotions. There was a refrigerator in the room which was a nice touch. The stay included free, full breakfast and the food was good.... more

We wanted to stay in the park but the Ahwahnee was booked. Having never been to Yosemite before,we thought that a hotel less than 1 mile from the entrance was perfect.
