The rooms are in little cottages set in the grounds. The setting is lovely and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with a nice warm living flame gas fire for the chilly evenings. Four of us stayed at Apple Tree July 5 and 6th. We found it to be very pleasant. Nice pool and breakfast, and within walking distance to the Tenaya Lodge where they have a nice restaurant. Our beds were comfortable and the staff was helpful. For the money, I don't think you could do better. more
