Upon looking to Trip Advisor for accomodations near yosemite, I see that Apple Tree Inn is still listed as place to stay. I just wanted to inform those who are looking to stay here that it has been acquired by Tenaya Lodge next door and is now called "the Cottages at Tenaya." I have stayed at both - a room... more

Loved this place! So sweet. It looked like my Grandma decorated it. The heaters in the room is the fireplace. And you flip a switch on the wall to turn it on. Everything was super clean and the location to Yosemite is stellar. My husband and I stayed here on the last leg of our honeymoon and enjoyed it very... more

We visited USA West during September 2008. One of our hotels was the Apple Tree Inn at Fish Camp. What a lovely hotel!! Very good situated close to the south entrance of Yosemite Park, this hotel has nicely decorated, spacious rooms, with (in our case, i.e. the Sugar Pine cottage) double queen-size beds. The only disadvantage was a malfunctioning heating,... more

The husband and I wanted to see Yosemite for the first time and stay as close to the park as possible. We chose the Apple Tree Inn. What a find! Very clean and cozy. The rooms were exactly as pictured. I would have liked a room with a king bed but they only have 2 queens. It is also a... more

The rooms are in little cottages set in the grounds. The setting is lovely and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with a nice warm living flame gas fire for the chilly evenings. The rooms have a balcony which may or may not get the sun depending which way you are facing. It is a good hour drive to Yosemite... more

Four of us stayed at Apple Tree July 5 and 6th. We found it to be very pleasant. Nice pool and breakfast, and within walking distance to the Tenaya Lodge where they have a nice restaurant. Our beds were comfortable and the staff was helpful. For the money, I don't think you could do better. more

Since I could not get en-suite rooms at the Wavona Hotel down in Yosemite, where we had stayed 2 years ago, we finally made our reservations after extended research at the Apple Tree Inn, and I am glad I did for our party of 5 adults. We booked one of the Suites, and one King, which were in separate buildings,... more

This was an excellent place to stay for Yosemite, just a few miles from the South entrance to the park. The accommodation is above average, but the location is wonderful. Most of the lodges have three separate apartments - two downstairs, one upstairs. Indoor swimming pool and hot tub a good extra. Access to the hotel next door, where the... more

Spectacular location at the South entrance to Yosemite National Park. The room was very clean and comfortable, set in a lodge among the trees and beautiful gardens. The breakfast buffet wasn't to my taste- too many people were letting their children pick up food, smell it and then put it back- a bit off-putting. Get a table outside on the... more

We decided on this little mountain gem after checking out the Tenaya Lodge resort next door. Tenaya has standard hotel rooms. We were looking for a place to accommodate our family of four in the Yosemite area. The Apple Tree has charming cottages and little gardens scattered around a fresh pine forest. The first floor of the cottage has two... more
