Needed to spend a night near San Jose, and found the Fremont Marriott. Lovely lobby, cordial staff, and your basic Marriott room. We were there for the weekend only. This is right off the freeway so very convenient. The hotel lobby is really nice, modern looking. Gym had some great equipment and weights. In that broad category of average hotels in the Silicon Valley, I find the Courtyard Marriott a higher quality contender. Their service is excellent, their rooms are large, comfortable and very clean. Reasonable requests for the extra blanket, shower cap or towel are accommodated quickly and with a great smile.
