Stayed at the Piccadilly Inn Express used to be Chateau. Great airport location. Not around any shopping or restaurants, but the friendly staff was always willing to help with directions. Comfortable room with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and iron. $9.95/day (ending at midnight) for wi-fi, which is a ripoff. The Courtyard across the street's high speed internet is free. Did everyone else stay at a different place? Cigarette burns on the bedspread, rock-hard mattress, smelly (non-smoking) room. Just nasty. The girl at the front desk was nice, though. This place is near the airport, and I chose it because of that. I'd just spent a week visiting Sequoia, Kings Canyon & Yosemite Nat'l Parks. The price at $70-$80 may seem enticing, however the lack of amenities and other fees make this hotel over-priced.
