$50/night motel, but it got three stars on kayak.com. It's only a one-star IMHO. Thin walls, heard the neighbors and the freight trains all through the night. Had a fridge, but no microwave or coffeemaker. Breakfast was instant coffee, packaged pastries. Not a nice neighborhood, either. A better area of town would be the Tower District, or further north. more

Hotwire gave an excellent deal on this place for my trip through Fresno (only $54 + tax). The hotel is near the Civic Center and was recently re-painted. The rooms are very clean, the hot water works, and the toilet flushes. This about as good as you can get for a two star facility. Pro: Building looks new and has... more

This hotel is located in downtown Fresno. The room is clean, no smell, and the neiborhood is nice. The only problem : this hotel is quite close to railroad and you can hear train horns day and night. We cannot sleep without using ear plugs. more
