We chose the Piccadilly Inn due to its proximity to the Save Mart Center. The front desk clerk was very friendly and efficient, and checked us in long before the 3pm arrival time. Traveling alone, I did not feel safe or comfortable at this motel. The lobby is not connected with rooms and one has to walk outside in the dark parking lot in order to get to the rooms. The attendant called out my room number so that all standing in the lobby could hear. more

I never noticed any crime or bad people around the Piccadilly Inn University. I know they do have a nice inviting pool. The rooms are clean and they are right accross the street from Fresno State which is why my parents frequently use this hotel and they love it! Not far from Savemart Center either. more

This large motel complex sits just across the corner on Shaw Avenue from Fresno State University. It's a really great location if you have university business. There're a couple of restaurants nearby but, in addition, a quick drive east on Shaw takes you into Clovis with lots of fast food chains, a mall and theater complex, and a western-oriented downtown.... more
