I made a reservation to this hotel based on favorable word of mouth from my friends. I came to Gardena to visit relatives. The problems began with the desk clerks who were not friendly. When I checked in, they took 2 other foreign guests in BEFORE me. I could not believe it. I honestly thought it was a hidden camera show but disappointed to find that it was not. They also had problems speaking English so I believe their intention was to get the foreign guests out of the way quicker before they got to me. The rooms were also a source of disappointment to me because they were not clean to my satisfaction but I have seen worse so I did not mind that much. But I was most offended when I was sitting in the lobby patio and was accosted by a man who I later found out was the hotel detective. He started to talk to me and when I tried to ignore him he seemed insulted and began questioning me. Before long we were hurling insults back and forth and came very close to fisticuffs.
