The great price and "shining" amenity list do not compare to the utter headaches suffered after a stay in this smelly, run-down motel. The place was less costly and from pictures and on arriving was not the prettiest hotel. The little pool was nice looking though. Inside the rooms were fine. My sister and I attended a family reunion weekend in San Juan Bautista and both reserved rooms at the Comfort Inn in Gilroy. The man at the front desk was not a nice person. He didn't have record of my sisters room even though she produced a reservation number. He told her to use the courtesy computer in the lobby... more

We have stayed here three times, and have never been disappointed. It has clean, quiet rooms with a refrigerator, good beds, good shower, and good breakfast. The freeway exit is easy on and off, and there is a choice of gas and restaurants nearby. We will come back. more

The hotel room we had was good size, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was fine. The front desk was also fine. The location was immediately off the highway. This hotel was nothing special but we got a good night's sleep and some food for breakfast for under $50. Tough to complain about that. more
