Family friendly place full of character with a great bar, restaurant and den. Service at the restaurant was a little mixed but that didn't deflect from what was a great stay overall. Well worth a visit. more

You wonder when a place has been around since 1921 how it will look today. The Evergreen Lodge was a wonderful, quiet retreat away from the crowds at YNP. We have just returned from a trip to california stopping at Evergree Lodge for two nights whilst visiting Yosemite. Whilst the lodge does have lots of activities for both adults and children we were rather dismayed at our re-furbished cabin. I had a horrendous experience with Evergreen Lodge, particularly with their Recreation Desk. I cancelled a trip that I had schedled with their front desk, but the front desk failed to inform the Recreation Desk. No one would ever know that these groups operate independently.
