On our journey down Highway one from San Francisco to Los Angeles we stopped off for a night in Half Moon Bay. This is a great hotel close to the beach and the amenities of the small town of Half Moon. It is definitely worth an overnight stay at this hotel, the rooms are oversized , clean and well maintained... more

We stayed here during the week with our 4 and 10 year old. We were pleased with the cleanliness and size of our room. We had issues with getting a rollaway for our eldest daughter, however they handled it quickly and efficiently and then comped a movie for us. It was a little more pricy and upscale than we usually... more

OUr family loves going to this hotel. It has a nice swimming pool and spa. It is very kid friendly. The grounds are also very nice and you even get to see the golfers play golf. The value is also great, in the mornings you get to eat a very nice continental breakfast. more

We're glad we chose the Best Western HMB Lodge for a two-night stay. The Ritz just down the way was tempting, but we were out of our room most of the time so for less than half the ritzy price Best Western proved more than adequate. The hotel's strengths are its landscaping (loaded with flowers and humming birds), golf fairway... more

We stayed here for one night, primarily for it's proximity to San Francisco (we were returning home the next day), and it turned out to be our most expensive hotel - bearing in mind we stayed in four 4* hotels during our holiday. Good points about this particular hotel - free internet, a free bottle of water in the room... more

We stayed one night on our sister/neices/daughter road trip. Our room was on the first floor, was very clean and had enough room for five women. We had a roll away brought in, and there was still plenty of room to move around. We enjoyed the hot tub and the breakfast in the morning was fair. I would go back. more

The BW Half Moon Bay Lodge is a nice place to stay on the way back to SF from Monterey or Big Sur. We stayed here on our way back to SF after visiting San Simeon about 4 hours south. The room was clean and the breakfast is the morning is very good. The staff was also friendly. Half Moon... more

We booked this hotel for one night as we traveled north. We arrived on a Thursday night and the whole place was quite tranquil, which is what we wanted after driving for hours. The room was immaculate, very comfy and well appointed. We slept well and enjoyed the delicious breakfast which was served in a room with a fireplace and... more

The first room they gave us we just couldn't stay in, the musty odor was too much. The screen door didn't close, there were a couple of things they needed to do to make it enjoyable. Plus we were with another couple and were told the rooms would have to be on the other side of the building from each... more
