First of all there's the location, just off an extremely busy highway. I don't know if "just off" is an accurate description, since the back wall of the hotel is also a sound wall for northbound I-880. Maybe "practically on" the freeway would be closer to the mark.
As if that weren't bad enough, there are two restaurants and a
24-hour gas station within the hotel property. And finally, there are the truckers who stay here, many of whom are driving refrigerated trailers which require the motors to be kept running through the night. So, other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play? The big surprise here is I actually had a decent night's sleep. The room was a typical no-frills Motel 6 room, but spotlessly clean and well cared for. With the fan on, the outside noise became a mere whisper. Check-in was super fast, less than two minutes, so no complaint there. Would I recommend
this motel? To business travellers and single folks on a budget, yes. Just... more
