Yes, this small hotel/b& b is pricey but at least you don't feel 'ripped off' when you leave. The staff is friendly. Stayed here way back in 1987 and made a nostalgic return in 2009. Hotel has been beautifully renovated and the front room we stayed in was beautiful, very roomy and had a great view out over the square. Healdsburg has gone more up market, but remains mostly unpretentious and charming. more

Stayed here for 2 nights. Wonderful rooms, great manager and staff, prime location, and very good breakfasts. What more is there to say? We thought parking could be a problem [the hotel has none] but on-street parking is plentiful and you can park after 3:0 PM until 12 noon the next day without worrying about a ticket.
