I stayed at the Indio Motel 6 for three days while attending the Coachella Music Festival. I checked in early Friday evening, and was given a ground-level room. I had requested a non-smoking room with 2 double beds. They got the beds right, and the room did indeed have non-smoking signs, but unfortunately it smelled pretty strongly of stale smoke.... more

Checking in, it was very busy with a circular queue forming in the small office. Mostly construction workers and some tourists. I would never again stay there! Very impolite staff at check-in. They did not want to give us additional towels for the pool, so we got them from the housekeeping by ourselves. Stayed here for 2 nights because of the Coachella festival. Check-in staff had to be the rudest staff I have ever had to deal with. We booked non-smoking....they gave us smoking, when we asked if we could change it, they told us to deal with it. We went swimming in an average pool, and asked for some more towels.....they refused... more

The accommodations were not great but the price was cheap. The room was well used but clean. I would recommend if you're just looking for a cheap place to stay. more
