For the amount of time we spent here, this hotel suited us fine. A pool would have been nice after a hot drive down the coast, but it was not expected. I wasn't impressed by the front desk personnel. They were dressed casually, and I never was sure who actually worked there. L.A. casual? But, the hotel is a short, easy drive from LAX and the parking is well-lit and free. I am a Hilton Diamond Level and stay at Hampton Inns 80% of my travels - and I travel a LOT. This Hampton is old and beat up. Staff is not professional - compared to all other Hampton Inn's that is. They are probably a cut above cheap hotels. Area is bad, no pantry so you either have to walk... more

This is an older hotel; but it has everything that you would need. We decided to stay here since we had an early flight out the next day. It has been upgraded nicely. I would probably stay here again. more

I decided to stay here for one night before catching an early flight out of LAX, so I didn't have to contend with early morning traffic and risk missing my flight.
