Really, there was a fire in Julian and it started while at the Bluegrass Festival. We were staying at the inn and the owners gave us reassurance for our safety when all the roads were closed; even gave us a ride into town to pick up our vehicle. It was easy to reserve through their website, we booked a great room with a fabulous view and we could walk to Julian and to watch the sunset at the top of the hill. It was so quiet and peaceful. There was a wedding reception going that evening, but we couldn't hear them around our room at all. It has lots of trees and birds. The room was cute and the bed comfortable. We'll stay here again. more
