From the clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated rooms to the friendly, outgoing staff, I was impressed! A variety of restaurants, shops, and the beach are within walking distance and downtown San Diego is only a short drive away. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again on my next trip to the San Diego area. more

We stayed here with our children aged 9 & 14. We rented 2 rooms which were located around the pool. The rooms were big, modern, furnished & decorated to a very high standard. Had a terrible time at the Grande Colonial so came here. This place was clean, quiet, nice rooms and friendly staff. It's a drive to get anywhere and that was ok at the time but if you're looking for accessiblity to stuff, this probably isn't the best spot. more

After booking a room on Expedia.com, I was given a Queen sized bed for two people. The room had no desk and no closet. The bed was suitable for one person not two. The woman at the desk told me they could not give me any other room. THe service was helpful but there was a beeping sound all night... more

We really enjoyed this place! It was convienent for downtown La Jolla Cove (we walked one day, took a $6 cab to dinner at the cove another night), and there is a closer beach just a short walk down the street.
