This hotel has a great location just steps from the beach and a large heated pool. But for $200 a night we got a room in desperate need of renovation, a "kitchenette" stuffed into a closet with the smell of leaking gas. I've stayed at his motel for many years. I am 42 with 4 children and i own a business. This is not a fancy hotel if that is what you are looking for...however, there is a great little coffee shop just across the street that we go and get early morning java and head down the street to Shaws Cove... more

The outside grounds were gorgeous and it even had a swimming pool, BUT everything else was below standards. The room had 2 queen beds (which were actually comfortable if you could get past looking at the falling apart box spring), lots of pillows, a 'dining' table and chairs which blocked the main door from opening all the way, a crammed... more
