“NO one told me they where under construction”

I booked reservations and was not told they were under construction. The noise was terrible and I was given an old room that needs work. The garden were in disarray since the painters were painting the builiding. The staff was not accommodating. Terrible stay and left early. more

As the Phoenix Traveler witnessed we have been undergoing a complete $2.7M renovation. Our intentions have been to isolate each building during the renovation. We are 90% complete with a date of June 10th for the completion of the entire project. We have been getting excellent feedback from our guests. They feel we have done a fantastic job.

The flowers/gardens are exceptionally beautiful and extremely well maintained. The room/furnishings were basic and clean. Very quiet. Had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Adequate exercise room w/treadmills and weight machine. Would stay again based on price, peaceful atmosphere and overall cleanliness despite it not feeling as cushy as a Red Lion or Marriott, for example (but then... more

The accomodations were very nice. The grounds are absolutely beautiful---roses!!! everywhere! A really nice breakfast included in your room price. Reasonable rates. The cons were very noisy patrons drinking on the patio until very late-and then waking up to their empty beer bottles left all over. I do not fault the Lodge for badly behaving guests. I could have complained... more
