ADVICE! This is a place for those who love the outdoors. These are the ONLY cabins this close to the eastern (in my opinion, the best) side of Yosemite. Rustic it is, but no bang for the bucks. Two hundred dollars for one night is overcharging for a bare old cabin. The price should be half the price they are charging for the cabins and rooms. For the money, there should be a least free coffee or cocoa in the room, homemade cookies and bottled water. Just two dollars... more

I just spent this past Labor Day Weekend with my wife at the Tioga Pass Resort next to the Tioga Pass entrance to Yosemite. As mentioned in other reviews this is not a resort, but a collection of modern cabins. Tioga Pass Resort is part history and part funk! If you want a hotel room with the basics stay in Lee Vining. But, if you are looking for rustic charm and high sierra character, then this is your place.
