I stayed for one night and loved this place. My rate was only $111 for a room that faced ocean and was quite large. The room was very clean and had many nice ammenities including kingsize bed, sink in room and bathroom, microwave, refrigerator, TV with DVD and VCR slots, little veranda outside of room with two chairs and cushions.... more

We made a last-minute decision to stay somewhere in the Mendocino/Ft. Bragg area, despite the fact that we had very little extra money to spend on our trip. Part of our reason for our extra day was that we desperately wanted to spend some time in a hot tub. Unfortunately, it was also storming outside. Seafoam Lodge has a covered... more

My 88-year-old mother and I were looking for a moderately priced accommodation where we could take our pug on a two night stay in the Mendocino area. Seafoam Lodge proved to be the ideal choice. The owers are very welcoming and accommodating. Even though it was cold and rained most of the time, we were able to fully enjoy our... more

This is our first time in the Mendocino area. I researched a number of bed and breakfast places online before we went. However, I ended up not booking anything before we left home for two reasons: 1) I have never stayed at a B&B before and wasn't sure if I would like such arrangements. 2) I was not sure if... more

Recently stayed 3 nights here in the Promendade 21 room. We were pleased with our room and the general atmosphere of the grounds. The unit itself is very homey, having a kitchen (which included an oven!) and a wood burning fireplace. The description and photo of the room posted on their website is accurate so more info can be had... more

The Seafoam Lodge is above average not in amenities and ritzy stylish rooms. Its qualities lie in the fact that you can watch the sun sink into the ocean with your pooch at your feet on your semi-private deck for about half the price of most Mendocino inns, most of which DO NOT have this kind of view. It's a... more

Their vacancy sign was a lifesaver after driving through forests and up Highway 1 in the dark and finding no place else open. We jumped in the hot tub and star gazed from the patio. And the grounds looked so nice in the morning that we decided to stay another night. The room was huge with a microwave and fridge... more

I can see why people who are used to the Ramada will cringe at this place, but I also think that these same people are wimps. The room worked well for us- it did smell a little stuffy when we got in, but nothing that opening the windows could not fix. Everything was clean, and the bathroom was well supplied... more

Remember the saying, "You get what you pay for"? Well, this is the perfect example. Our trip was very last minute and we were bringing our dog so our options were minimal. The closest place to Mendocino was the Seafoam Lodge in Little River. It was pretty inexpensive and we booked it. We did look at their website and read... more

We have been visiting the Seafoam Lodge each summer for several years now. The ocean views are incredible. I enjoy waking up to sit on the private porch with a hot cup of coffee, a warm muffin and juice while enjoying the fresh ocean air and beautiful views. It is truly breathtaking! Pets are welcome, so you'll often see people... more
