Great location if you are in town to visit wine country. Close to downtown Livermore which is a quaint but fun little area. The hotel has a great lobby with a friendly and helpful front desk staff. I've stayed here a few times and must realy commend the staff here. Everyone at the front desk and throughout the hotel are friendly and eager to help. New linens on the beds and a great "happy hour" weekdays in the lobby help me unwind after a long day. more

I knew as soon as I walked up to the registration desk that Hawthorn was a good choice. Angelica greeted us with the most welcoming smile and provided us with the most helpful information, she was very accommodating during our stay. We stayed here on our way back to the San Fran area after visiting Yosemite. This turned out to be one of the best hotels on our 10 day California vacation.
