I found the hotel very satisfactory. The room was fairly large, clean and I enjoyed using the wireless connection, refrigerator and microwave. It's not in the nicest of neighborhoods but I did not worry for myself or my vehicle. The front desk staff were friendly and was offered a ride (no charge) to the Queen Mary both days I was... more

This hotel is older, but it was clean. The location was very convenient to the downtown area and San Pedro/Port of Los Angeles. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is older. It is in a business area/downtown city. There is a bit of street noise because the hotel is right on a busy street. The neighborhood is comprised of... more

The two of us had the most exceptional experience booking this hotel for $169 for the night before our cruise out of Long Beach/San Pedro harbor. The hotel was very clean, updated, and all of the seven staff employees we interacted with were very intelligently helpful. For the room price you are transported roundtrip to your ship and the price... more

The hotel itself is average or just below. The pool is VERY small and was unclean. However, the biggest drawback of this hotel is where it is located. It's right in the middle of a Long Beach getto, way north of the "nice area." There were gang-members and homeless folks all over the place. It was a very unsafe and... more

The Best Western in Long Beach was okay! Probably the best part of it was very clean and the shower was nice. It is an older hotel but kept up pretty good. The only downfall was the area! We had to drive to find a place to eat. I would never take the family for a walk anywhere in the... more

We were in town for a convention at the Westin and Long Beach Convention Center. This hotel was about 1/2 the price and was definitely within walking distance. Rooms were a good size (ours even had a little balcony) and parking was underground. Excellent value - no complaints. more

We liked this hotel, and we found the staff pleasant. We stayed here for one night before departing for a cruise that left from Long Beach, California. This was a simple hotel, clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly, and the continental breakfast was ample. This is a non-smoking hotel which was a great plus for us.... more
