I almost hate to give this place a negative review because the staff was very nice but bad is bad.This place is in serious need of an overhaul in the rooms.Carpet is badly stained the first non-smoking penthouse I was given smelled like an ashtray along with cigarette burn marks on the sinks.The thing that really did it for us... more

As a party of five we travelled to Long Beach and stayed at the Residence Inn in a penthouse suite. It was fabulous. The suite had an upstairs bedroom and ensuite bathroom. There was plenty of room for us all and it was lovely and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was brilliant - it offered... more

We have stayed at the LB Residence Inn several times visiting our son who attends Cal State Univ. Long Beach. It is easy to get to the college from the hotel and has easy freeway access, etc. The Res. Inn has comp. Mon-Thurs. beer and munchies - enough to make a meal! The rooms are always clean and very comfortable... more
