This hotel "fit the bill" in every way for us. We needed to be centrally located, with easy freeway accessibility, not only for business in the nearby corporate area, but also to some of the major attractions that we wanted to see while there. The rooms were adequate, yet spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. My spouse really... more
I was flying out of Long Beach Airport early in the morning so chose this hotel for convenience the night before. It is going thru a renovation but I didn't have any issues related to it. The staff was friends, rooms were nice enough and a good sized. I did not have any issues with noise from the adjacent airport.... more
I just returned from a two-night stay at the Long Beach Marriott. I was there on business. The property looked a bit dated from the pictures online, so I was hesitant to stay there. I called ahead to the hotel itself and was told that the rooms had been renovated recently, only the top floor remained to be worked on,... more
Staff was exceptionally friendly, especially to our two children. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet included with the room ( $10 more for everyone) was well worth it...waffles, meats, omelots, fruit, breads, cereals, etc. Hotel grounds were beautiful. The hotel pools were perfect for our kids...only 4 feet deep max. The only downside was that... more
We had a pleasant stay. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, hotel was well maintained. Our stay had a hot breakfast included in the price. Just stay away from the muffins. The hotel was also right against the airport air strip but the windows were doubled so the noise did not bother us. Pool was open 24 hours... more
The Marriott in Long Beach is undergoing renovations, and not a moment too soon. I was in a corner room on the top floor for my two night stay ($199 per night AAA rate). The hotel is convenient to the airport, and a reasonable distance from downtown Long Beach. The food and beverage services are over priced. The housekeeping in... more
We just returned from a trip to stay at the Marriott because it was recommended for a wedding that we had to attend in Long Beach. This hotel is undergoing remodeling and some floors are more modern then others. We stayed in an outdated room and it seemed a little dirty. The staff is inefficient and knows NOTHING about hospitality.... more
I stayed here for a 2 day business meeting. It was great for a meeting with ample meeting rooms, some of which had high backed leather like chairs. The facility was very clean and looks as if most of the renovations have been done. Food served at the meeting was good although I did not try the restaurants. My sleeping... more
Great stay. Quiet property in a hidden corporate park location. Staff was very nice, rooms were clean BUT again, not the newest or most reburished. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked, pool (in and out, both heated) were great, gym was small but functional. Breakfast buffet for 15 bucks was a great deal with made to order hot food. Outside,... more
