First, the pluses... The location is great if you want to explore Hollywood. The hotel is literally half a block off Hollywood Boulevard. Everything you could ever need is within walking distance. Amazing location -- poor follow through and management. Renaissance dissapointed us by: - Not sending bellman even requested 3 times when parking valet and arriving in a wheel chair with 3 children. - Taking 1 hour to check in because the reservation was lost in their computer system. This hotel is wonderful in every way. Friendly staff, luxurious and clean rooms, superb location, great shopping precinct, nearby restaurants were fantastic, there really isn't anything that I can fault it on. It is a little expensive, but then you are in Hollywood. If I get back to Hollywood I will definately stay here again. more
