My finacee and I live in a city near LA, but as we spend most of our weekends in town, we figured we'd have a more romantic Memorial Day weekend. The rooms are of average size: neither cramped nor huge. The hotel appears to be recently renovated, with modern looking furnishings in generally very good/excellent condition. I know the lobby... more

The room was well-appointed and everything was great. But the food and drinks were overpriced. I think the room service meals could have been better considering how expensive they were ($50 entrees). Dinner in your room will cost about $80 or so. The outside pool and jacuzzi are nice, albeit simple. I couldn't sleep because of the noisy bar though.... more

Just back from a five day business trip to the Hyatt. The Good The room was updated, very clean, had a lovely 7th floor pool view. The service--from the bar to the front desk to the various people in catering--was outstanding. I was particularly pleased that I got some helpful advice about how to get a balloon for my daughter's... more

This is a fantastic property in the midst of LA, blocks from St Monica Boulevard and the Century Plaza Mall. The rooms are very large, very comfortable and impecably appointed. The beds are huge, and as good as they can be. There is a large LCD screen too. There is a very confy desk for computer and other work. Internet... more

Stayed here 4 days and nights for a conference at the hotel. Used the Super Shuttle airport limo to/from the airport, and it was fine ($14 vs. $40, est., for cab from LAX). The concierge set up the return trip for me from his desk. Painless. Also a place in the lobby to print boarding passes and other travel documents,... more

A bad location - unless you have business with FOX Studios. Expensive, nothing notweorthy. Basically, an over-priced gaudy hotel that should probably be moved to Las Vegas or some city where gaudiness, and tastelessness are the accepted standards. Ridiculous valets thet make it difficult to get in and out, expensive add-on parking costs, and a staff tha does not seem... more

This hotel has nicely decorated rooms and the rooms are rather spacious as hotel rooms go, but since there were no amenities included in the price, I would rather go to other hotels for the same price and get more amenities with friendlier service. The extra charges to stay here include: $33 parking charge, $20 per visit charge for the... more

One of the worst hotel stays. I gave it a second chance and was again disappointed. The customer service is weak from the moment you drive up and have to deal with the disastrous chaos of cars that some of the valet could care less about. Unfriendly staff, lost laundry that THEY seemed put out about. They don't try to... more
