We stayed at Days Inn Hollywood for two nights. It was clean and plenty comfortable. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. If you drive a extra high vehicle, it won't fit in the underground parking, but the staff is very accomodating and is willing to make arrangements to park your vehicle. The breakfast is satisfying. We stayed here a night before a cruise as we wanted to check out Hollywood Boulevard and surrounding areas. We checked in and were allocated a room on the second floor and upon entering the room the smell hit us! It was terrible, like a musty, damp smell with disinfectant mixed in. I stayed here for 3 nights with my friend during our three week america trip. The location of the hotel was excellent 5 min walk from the walk of fame, chinese and kodak theatres and bus tours. Also near the subway station for universal studios, which is only one stop away. The hotels decor is a bit dated and shabby.... more

We stayed here one night, before a cruise, to experience Hollywood Blvd. The location is perfect for all Hollywood Blvd has to offer. Location was great, the room was nothing special but it was clean. 8 minute walk away from the Hollywood walk of fame and Kodak theatre. They gave us continental breakfast. Parking was $10 CAD a day. I would recommend this hotel more

Our primary need was for a comfortable room since we were mostly going to be there after seeing the nearby attractions. It is an older style hotel with many rooms facing the pool in an atrium style setting. Overall the room wasn't bad. It was fairly cheap, you get what you paid for. But what was upsetting to me, was the fact that housekeeping stole an expensive necklace off the nightstand! If you stay here, I suggest you don't leave anything out. more
