From The Tower, built in 1927, where Gable and Lombard lived, to The Cabanas, vintage 1950s, where Marilyn Monroe lived, guests have two distinct accommodations options. The Tower has undergone a 25 million dollar renovation designed by Yabu Pushelberg. The Tower rooms have larger work desks and are suited for guests traveling on business or with families. The Cabanas are just footsteps from the renowned David Hockney pool and the Tropicana Pool Cafe. The Cabanas are suited for guests looking for an entertaining and lively Hollywood experience.

The staff is top notch and the overall feel of the Roosevelt is awesome. The caban room was very cozy and the king size bed was great, probably the best my wife and i have slept in. The view of the pool and all the lights from the balcony was great. The pDefinitely worth the money.

Hotel's Favourite
5 night stay over Christmas with my family - 2 adults and 2 kids. A very enjoyable stay with a couple of minor glitches, but nothing to stop it being a 5 star review. Staff were *excellent* throughout, especially Chinelle who was just so thoughtful and highly professional. Concierge Nicolas highly knowledgeable and supportive. The valet guys were, I think, the best we’ve ever experienced. The room was sizeable and comfortable. The children were very happy in the double sofa-bed. Main king bed was very good. Shower pressure excellent. Location is first rate, you can get everywhere very, very easily. Minor quibble is that there appears to have been some cost cutting by management in recent times and there is a bit of a nickel and dime approach - for instance there are no coffee machines or kettles in rooms unless you specifically ask for it. When we requested it the hotel was happy to provide it (after trying to sell us on room service instead) - but this is really not the sort of thing you should have to ask for in a high class hotel. With the amount we are paying, a 50c cup of coffee really should not be something you have to go out of your way to ask for. To be fair to the staff they seemed a little embarrassed at the issue and explained that they had told management about this feedback a number of times. Technology is good - resort fee included WiFi and the TVs are well equipped with chrome cast and streaming services, so if you want a lazy morning in front of the TV you are well served.

Beautiful historical hotel to visit in the heart of Hollywood. The staff was helpful, friendly, full of knowledge and they shared some history about the hotel. If Hollywood Roosevelt decides to have an in-depth tour, I would be happy to go back! This hotel is full of rich Hollywood history, beautiful architecture and ghost stories worth to have its own tour.

I was so excited ro stay at this historic hotel, but my experience was less than desirable. First, there were a lot of tricky things in the room, including the table, the ice bucket and the ice tongs. Next, the TV didn't work. It would turn on but none of the channels would load. Then, the bathroom light kept turning on in middle of night. And you definitely need a white noise app to drown out Hollywood blvd noise/music. I only stayed one night; had I stayed longer I would've moved rooms. I'm struggling to see how this equates to a 4 star hotel. Room 802 needs help!

I stayed during the Frieze Art fair in March 2024 and the hotel was hosting another really cool Art Fair called Felix in some of the Rooms on 11+12th Floor and in some of the Pool Cabana Suites. I had a King Room and the room itself was really clean and large with great desk, Bathroom with Byredo products and super comfortable bed. Housekeeping was super good too and came every day. I would call them when I was leaving for the day and they didn't miss 1 day and I was staying there for 6 days! The Cafe + Room Service are really solid. The Bar downstairs in the old bowling alley is definitely worth checking out too. Definitely reccomend requesting a room at the end of the hallways away from elevators as the Elevators are old and have a loud ding/you can hear the doors opening if you're nearby. Was a bit too cold to swim but the pool is amazing and the bar outside by pool is really nice too. Staff is used to being super busy and handle large events and groups well unlike some hotels in LA. Besides from the Hotel there is not a ton of stuff that's not super touristy since it's right on Hollywood BLVD Walk of Fame but a lot of good places within a short walk/uber

Dear Kyle, Thank you for sharing your detailed review with us! We are glad you joined us during the Frieze Fair, combined with our own Felix art event in our cabana rooms. We love that you were comfortable in your king room and that our housekeeping team proved attentive and detailed in their efforts. We know your recommendations for future guests will be welcome, and we're glad you could enjoy the ambiance of our David Hockney pool, even if the weather didn't quite warrant a swim. We hope to see you again during the summer months to take full advantage! With regards, Don Jacinto, Managing Director

Well, what can I say, we were treated like gods. We chose the Roosevelt for its prestige, location and history. The whole management were excellent, along with all the staff across the hotel. We were upgraded on arrival and during the stay which made us feel very special. It was the week leading up to the Oscars, so was very busy in Hollywood during our stay, with the Roosevelt being quite central, with the Entertainment channel using the Roosevelt for the interviews with the actors around the pool area (regular Oscar meeting place) I would highly recommend the Roosevelt to stay - a luxorious hotel great hospitality, and great food at both Shirley's and 25 degrees at the front of the hotel. You exit right out to the walk of the stars from the front of the hotel, with the main entertainment across the road. We truly loved our stay and would certainly go back there again when back in LA. A big shout out to Kevian for making our stay such an amazing memory!!

This is just my own experience at this hotel. The hotel is old although it has a beautiful pool and the beautiful palm trees. One of the big light in the room was off when we arrive they had to call a maintenance man to fix it after we reported. This left us wondering if they check their rooms prior to next customer. Staff at the reception need to be more open and explain clearly to customers their policies as all of us don’t know much information. Ok we arrived very early around 8-8:30 am and we’re supposed to go in our room around 12 -1 pm, we didn’t mind waiting till that time 12 midday but the staff serving us said we can still go in and we pay more. My husband didn’t understand then I asked the lady what she said to get clarification but she quickly gave my husband the entry card to upgraded room that was available for us to go early. She didn’t want to talk to me at all because I had asked for clarification and would have declined for the upgraded room since we knew we would pay more. then they charged a top up fee for us getting in early.my husband said he was not explained clearly otherwise he didn’t mind waiting till 12 midday. On another note we were told to pay more money on arrival for the amenities in the room of which we never used that busket except for the charger we used since we didn’t have one that costed $19 only . they took more money for the destination fee $35 usd per day for the duration of our stay which was not explained when we arrived . I rang them for clarification and told them what if we don’t have money since they never explained this to us on first day, and the staff said she will raise this issue with her manager in their meetings. The staff also said that they charged more because we used the amenities in the basket but I told her we never touched any food in the basket for the entire stay, so why they charged us a lot of money like that? I have to appreciate the frontier man who greeted us on arrival and say hats off to him, we really felt welcomed to this hotel despite poor communication and explanation from the staff at the desk The hotel is just a few meters to Walk of Fame and bus tours, which we really appreciate! Upset customer 😞😞 Arrived 19 January 2024 at this hotel

Dear Wetu, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. While we are glad you enjoyed our prime location here in Hollywood, perfect for catching a tour, and that you experienced a warm welcome, we are sorry that the upgrade offered to you was not explained as fully as you needed, and that our amenities and fee weren't covered thoroughly. We strive for every guest to be satisfied with our offerings, and while we are glad we could get you settled into a room early, we clearly failed to fully explain the cost to you. And while we hope you took advantage of our fitness center, yoga, dining venues, and coffee and tea service, the resort fee for these services should have been outlined upon arrival. We hope we can welcome you back one day to leave you with a better lasting impression. Kindly, Don Jacinto, Managing Director

We went to Shirley Brasserie for a birthday dinner and wow did they provide the utmost care! Everywhere we went, staff was wishing my husband a happy birthday. After dinner I asked Bill, the security, if we could see the pool. Unfortunately it was rented out bc of the Oscars, so he took us to the roof instead!!! What a dream. Incredible night finished with a drink in The Spare Room. Definitely recommend.

Very good enjoyable stay in this iconic hotel. We had a deluxe room and it was absolutely perfect. The room was spacious and very clean. The shower was amazing, so powerful and there was room for at least 6 people in it!! The pool area is nice and there are several Bar & Restaurants to visit. My favourite was 25 degrees as the cocktails were superb and the burgers delicious. We did also have a lovely breakfast in Rosy Café. Sadly we did t get to use the pool area due to it being closed for The Oscars. My only gripe staying here was the very early morning noise outside due to the preparation for The Oscars as or room overlooked the back of the hotel so there was lots of noise. Other than that I would definitely come back here next time I am in Hollywood.
