Central to the stunning LA Union train station and one of LA's sprawling Chinatowns but an expensive ($61US) cab ride from the international airport. My room was upgraded and was large with two double beds, a small table and chairs, a tea and coffee making area, a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a toilet with the handbasin... More

I stayed here because of the best western name and seemingly reasonable price, but the tax and charge for parking makes the original listed price much lower than what you end up paying. Rooms are not very nice. Old carpeting, extremely small bathroom, uncomfortable bed and pillows. I definitely will not stay here again. More

As a platnum BW rewards member my wife and I have stayed in a lot of Best Western hotels. This however was more of a private hotel on the wrong side of the tracks. As part of the China Town appeal. or to save money they didn't carpet the rooms. The bathroom was not much bigger than the entry door... More

I was looking for a cheap but clean place to stay for just one night. I found the Best Western Dragon Gate Inn. Large room and right in the middle of where I needed to be. For what I paid, the other choices were all non name brand properties. I was a bit hesitant to book at the Best Western... More

The biggest advantage of staying in this hotel is the Thai Massage centre located within the same property owned and run by a Thai lady. She rocks. It is a purely genuine place for a very nice and genuine massage at a fairly good price. I had a three hour session there. The rooms in the hotel are horrible, breakfast... More

The little mall at the entrance to Chinatown has a medium size pharmacy, A wellness/massage clinic, a post office, a martial arts studio, a tiny coffee shop that has on offer perhaps 1000 snack and candy offerings as well as pizza and bubble tea, and finally, back in the corner, mostly hidden by the elevator, is the hotel registration office.... Very close to Union Station, it was a $7 taxi ride from the Amtrak station to the Hotel. Got in late on Saturday night (came down from Canada) and on Sunday morning I needed emergency medical care. Not the easiest thing to find on a Sunday morning in Chinatown, but a nice young man in the Post Office adjacent to... More

Wow, who knew LA had it’s own Chinatown? Guess a lot of people do, but I think of “Chinatown” as being a San Francisco treat, not LA. I luckily discovered this place by accident because I wanted a hotel within walking distance of LA’s Amtrak train station. (BTW, Thank you for clicking “Review Helpful” button!) This little Best Western with... More

I really enjoyed my stay at this place. The room was big and clean. It had excellent parking facilities and many amenities in the area. The breakfast was ok, and the ambiance is good. The location was excellent for where I had to be. The price was fair and the staff was very, very friendly. It was nice to stay... More

We stayed one night and I understand the mixed reviews. You either like it or dont. It's an ok stay.it's pretty clean and continental breakfast it's pretty good. I think it's over priced. The ten dollars parking fee stinks on top of the price. Would I stay again ya but would try to find a better deal especially cause of... More
