Kudos to Kazi ! He saved the day and helped me retieve my handbag - with cash, credit cards and passport- which I had forgotten in a cab. He was reassuring and calm while I was frantic. He immediately called the cab company when I informed him what happened and helped me through the ordeal. My handbag was returned to... more

We were attracted to this hotel because the Port of San Pedro website mentioned that the Vagabond Inn had a part and sail package. We were taking a seven night cruise from the port. I called the hotel directly rather than use the Vagabond website. I learned from prior experience that special "deals" are best confirmed directly with the local... more

Me and my friend stayed at the Vagabond Inn from the 4th to the 6th September before going on a Royal Carribean Cruise. We didnt get to the motel until late on the 4th (travelled from Vegas on the 4th) so we literally just got straight in bed on the first night but as we walked in the room there... more

We spent the night before taking the ferry to Catalina Island. The room was clean but a bit worn. Staff was very friendly. We were able to leave our car there for the weekend. I think the cost was $25 for the weekend, which was less than parking at the marina. more

I am recently back from a month of solo-travelling in California. As I was using public transport, location was an essential factor when choosing accommodation. Having caught the blue Metro line south from Downtown Los Angeles, it takes around an hour to reach Long Beach Transit Centre. There's then a bus at Stand A that takes you to San Pedro... more

Have just returned to Ireland from 3 week trip around California. Stayed in many nice hotels along the way and in terms of service and comfort the Vagabond Inn in San Pedro was high on the list. The manager Kazi and the staff at the front desk couldn't do enough for us and Kazi even dropped us at the cinema... more

We came from Las Vegas, and took a shuttle to the hotel. $40 for the Prime time shuttle. The room was large and clean and the staff very friendly. There were quite a few restaurants to eat close by so that was great. We did not get up early enough for the breakfast provided so went up the street to... more

We had to check in late, so I called the front desk to hold my room back. It was 10pm. Sash, the tall guy at the front desk was so helpful to us. He had kept the paper work ready and we had nothing to do but just collect our keys. We had an excellent hospitality as we arrived. The... more
