Lots of CONS before the PROS. First, I really was excited for this hotel, it looked amazing in pics and sounded great and fun for myself, my 4 yr old and my mom. It was not… The gist- The shower pressure is awful!, literally couldn’t get the shampoo out of my hair. And the toilets flush sooo loud. There’s no fridge or microwave. the breakfast is frozen pastries and sometimes there’s coffee. The cafe is not open. The elevator on one side is broken, so you have to walk to the other side of the hotel bc there’s no staircase, it’s closed. The hallways and some of the rooms smell like weed, or skunk or musty. The rooms are not clean, hairs all over our first room. At first, the checkin was fine and then they inform you that it’s 12$ a day for parking, why? There’s no gate, no guard, no security cameras, doesn’t make sense. But ok. Then, when you park in the back, there’s no security at the doors to the hotel, so anyone can literally go in whenever they want, the doors are not locked ever and there’s almost 100 rooms on each floor. Then you go in your room and the door looks like it was pried open with a crow bar, it has the push mark on the door and the frame from a bar, and the chain lock bar was super loose. We got to the hotel at 930 pm and I went to take a shower and there were black long hairs in the shower on the wall, on the curtain inside and out and on the floor. There was even a hair on the table and the folded hanging bath towel. It was gross. I have blonde hair, my daughter has light curly brown and my mom has white hair. The front desk said they’d move us in the morning. So we moved to the second floor. This room seemed better the first night in the room. The second night, which was the third, I was taking my makeup off in the bathroom mirror with a wipe, and the 6 foot light fixture fell on my head. I did not touch the light, it’s way high up and on the wall above the mirror. I didn’t shake the mirror or wall, my daughter was standing right behind me. I luckily caught it on my back. I called the front desk, the manager called back and said we could move rooms. I’m like, for a third time and at 930pm with my daughter who’s ready for bed? No! The next day, I went to the front desk in the am where the manager didn’t even say I’m Sorry, she just said I can change rooms, or she said I had to call Expedia to get anything maybe. After Expedia called them, the hotel said I could move rooms or they’d refund my money for the next 2 nights but I’d have to checkout in the next hour. How does that make sense, they have an issue and their resolution is to kick out the guest? Wow! Also the hand towel holder fell off when my daughter was drying her hands, and the ironing board had a 2 foot metal rod just fall off and not hold up the board. It was broken. These rooms need a ton of work. Pros- the beds are comfy, but they are fulls, small beds and not down pillows like they say. The tv is good. That’s it. …
