Can't complain at all about this hotel. Large room, cheap price, friendly service, free internet in room and lobby, free (but basic) breakfast, free parking, and close to a lot of sights and the Metro. I just stayed a couple of nights at the Hollywood Celebrity--it's a fine basic hotel. It's located literally behind the Hollywood/Highland shopping center, from Hollywood Boulevard you walk through a corridor of the shopping center to reach the hotel (this seems cool to me--maybe the "hidden gem" thing). This hotel was a great find!! Ideally situated 5 minutes from Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood & Highland Centre (including the best views of the Hollywood sign) and a lot of the sights on my itinery.
